Responsible Gaming
Being responsible when it comes to gambling means playing with care. The golden rule is: Play with care and never risk what you can’t afford to lose.
Online gambling can be an exciting form of entertainment, and while most people find it enjoyable, others may encounter problems where gambling stops being fun.
Although there isn’t a definitive set of behaviors that identifies customers with gambling issues, we encourage our employees to use their expertise and be aware of any customer behavior that might indicate gambling problems. We have procedures in place to escalate concerns and consider whether it’s appropriate to engage with a customer. When such an interaction occurs, we provide the customer with contact information for a charitable gambling organization and details about tools available to manage their gambling behavior. We give customers the necessary information to make informed decisions about their gambling level, but we don’t make those decisions on their behalf.
We provide facilities for individuals to self-exclude themselves. Customers who wish to resume business with us at the end of their chosen self-exclusion period are required to complete a further 24-hour 'cooling off' period before they will be permitted to resume use of our gambling facilities.
Additionally, we provide a service for customers to set limits on the amounts they can deposit and/or bet with us. Once established, a deposit limit can only be increased by contacting our support. Limits will be raised again after a 24-hour “cooling-off” period.
You’ll find all the information you need to set your limits or, if you feel you need a break from gambling, to self-exclude in the Account Edit Profile section—or simply reach out to us, and we’ll guide you through it. Here are some tips to help you gamble responsibly:
- Set limits on how much you deposit and play before you start betting;
- Clear thinking is essential for responsible gambling, so avoid playing under the influence of alcohol or any other substances;
- Don't let playing get in the way of your daily responsibilities;
- Decide how much you can afford to lose, and if you hit that threshold, STOP;
- If you’re in recovery for any dependency, avoid gambling;
- Never view or use gambling as a way to pay off debts.
In most countries, it’s illegal for anyone under 18 to gamble. We reserve the right to request age verification from any customer and perform checks to verify the provided information. Customer accounts may be suspended, and funds retained until satisfactory age proof is provided.
